Event Liquor Licences

Event Liquor Licence — Application

Western Cape special-event liquor licences, sorted properly and on time.

Step 1 of 4 — About the applicant
Special-event liquor licences must be lodged with the WCLA, local SAPS and town planning at least 40 days before your event. Late lodging is possible but carries a R570/day penalty plus a condonation application. No certified copies needed here — clear phone photos are fine.

Is the venue a school property? *

If yes, the Principal must obtain WCED authorisation. No liquor sales/consumption during school hours.
